The work of six photographers - Daniel Constantinescu, Nicu Ilfoveanu, Iosif Király, Bernard Bay, Nicolas Clément and Isabelle Detournay – resonates with the museum’s collections.
By shining an original light on the museum’s collections, we discover the work of these photographers who provide a cross-reflection on Belgian and Romanian societies. The natural and mining landscape, architecture and heritage, territory, and cultural heritage are just some of the themes explored.
This exhibition is a continuation of the project “BE & RO Archives” and is part of a bilateral collaboration between UNARTE, the National University of Art of Romania in Bucharest and the Academy of Fine Arts of Tournai. Curators: Robin Legge and Magali Vangilbergen
