Triple Bill: Basiani Ensemble, Gori Women’s Choir & Georgian State Chamber Choir

This triple bill presents different genres of Georgian choral music in one concert: the Basiani Ensemble will present traditional polyphony – folk songs and Christian hymns dating back to the 11th and 12th century – while Gori Women’s Choir and the Georgian State Chamber Choir will perform contemporary choral works by famous Georgian composers such as Giya Kancheli and
Josef Kechakmadze.
