Francisco López

Francisco López is one of the most important figures in the field of experimental music and audio art. With more than forty years of sound creation and environmental recording, he has developed an impressive sound universe. He creates immersive sound experiences inspired by the work of Goya, more specifically his ‘dark’ period. These ‘dark’ works were created when the painter was completely deaf, leading to a decisive change in the essence of his work and his attitude to life. A body of work created in individual silence and introspection serves, two hundred years later, as inspiration for a sonic environment.
