In the workshop The Day I Left Home, illustrator Jesús Cisneros will explore the tension between intuition and control. The workshop will also address the connection between drawing and other forms of expression, with particular emphasis on the unique possibilities offered of group work: creating a space in which perspectives are shared and bridges built.
Installation
In dialogue with the workshop, Jesús Cisneros will create a window installation at Muntpunt, focusing on the role of the library in welcoming newcomers. The installation will explore themes like journey and encounter, highlighting culture’s role as a soothing balm, a bridge to the past, and a catalyst for a future grounded in respect and dignity.
