Kor’sia – Mont Ventoux

On climbing Mont Ventoux in 1336, Francesco Petrarch wrote a text that would later be seen as marking the beginning of the European Renaissance. Inspired by that account, Spanish dance company Kor’sia explores in Mont Ventoux a renewed vision of humanity, a response to the challenges of our day. The piece’s hypnotic choreography, sharply composed within an intriguing scenography, is a physical odyssey for nine dancers, a journey through urban and rural landscapes, driven by unstoppable transformation and unexpected encounters. A visual and kinetic spectacle somewhere between reality and surrealism.
