Art’s Birthday

In 1963, Fluxus artist Robert Filliou proclaimed that art was born on his own birthday, 17 January, exactly one million years ago, when someone dropped a dry sponge into a bucket of water. Since then, Art’s Birthday has grown into a global celebration of the enduring presence of something we’ve all come to love: art. M HKA is joining in the celebration, hosting an evening of live performances, activities, drinks and cake. Expect a warm, poetic and festive gathering!
