Raül Refree is one of the most acclaimed Spanish producers of the past decade. He works with experimental artists like Lee Ranaldo of Sonic Youth and, together with Lina, is bringing Amália Rodrigues’s fados back to public attention. He has worked with innovative artists like Rosalía and Niño de Elche, inadvertently playing a pioneering role in the so-called ‘new flamenco’ movement. For EUROPALIA ESPAÑA he will perform his beautiful album El Espacio Entre, combining post-classical meditations and soundtracks with ancient Iberian traditions and experimental music. On stage, Refree is accompanied by percussionist Núria Andorrà.
