Rocío Márquez & Pedro Rojas Ogàyar

Rocio Márquez is the figurehead of the new generation of cante jondo in Spain, a traditional flamenco singing style at once powerful and expressive. As a flamenco singer, she is deeply rooted in her Andalusian origins, but as an artist she is constantly exploring new boundaries. She will present her new album Himno vertical, accompanied only by Pedro Rojas’ classical and electric guitars. Somewhere in an undefined space between flamenco, classical and experimental, this project combines different flamenco styles.
