Shared Lines: Esther Ferrer and Walter Leblanc

This exhibition brings the work of groundbreaking Spanish artist Esther Ferrer (born 1937) into dialogue with the legacy of Belgian artist Walter Leblanc (1932-1986). Grounded in a shared interest in space, structure, and repetition, it explores how both artists use line, tension, and gesture to activate perception.

Ferrer, a key figure in conceptual and performance art, has developed a radical and feminist oeuvre, while Leblanc employed her own visual language for emblematic works that question perception, materiality and the immaterial. The work of both artists also establishes a dialogue with the architecture of the Foundation itself.
