Apoyatura could be a concert, or it could be a choreographic piece, but it is a landscape, a place where a body, a piano and a sky meet. Within this space, the body hovers in an ambiguous, liminal state: between waking and dreaming, control and surrender, fully attuned to the weight of its own presence. Here, lightness and gravity engage in a dialogue which unfolds in a time of blurred contemplation—of half-open eyes and half-listening ears. Bueno poses a central question: what is the relationship between this physical state and sound?
With an approach that is constantly shifting between musical, choreographic and visual parameters, Óscar Bueno defines himself as a creator, but also provides support for the creative processes of other artists. He collaborates with a variety of other artists, such as Cuqui Jerez, María Jerez, Cris Blanco, Anto Rodríguez, Amalia Fernández and Itxaso Corral.
