In the context of the art trail Endless Express, EUROPALIA presents the eponymous book. Bringing together artists from across the world based in and around Belgium, the public art trail took the train as a unifying element to explore the networked histories entangled with the Eupen/Ostend railway line. Intervening in stations along the tracks, some artists imagined the train as a mythical create re-enchanting the world, some sought out buried histories of labour or colonialism, while others questioned the notion of thinking in a straight line, playfully disrupting the clockwork of time – much like this psychogeographic travelogue. Curated by Caroline Dumalin, Endless Express presented new works by Che Go Eun, Inas Halabi, Flaka Haliti, Chloé Malcotti, Sophie Nys, Marina Pinsky and Laure Prouvost.
